Author Visits

Whether you're a teacher, librarian, or event organizer, I’d love to visit your space, virtually or in person! I bring educational storytelling, behind-the-scenes insight into my creative process, and thoughtful discussions that inspire young readers (and grown-ups, too). From school visits and local library readings to book fairs and panel discussions, my goal is to make each event engaging, educational, and fun. Author visit rates, virtual offerings, and booking fees for panels and special appearances are listed below.

Please note: For travel outside of Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area, travel expenses (transportation, lodging, etc.) will be added to the listed rates. If your school is a Title I school, or you represent a non-profit organization, or if your organization has a different budget, please fill out our contact form to discuss discounted speaking rates.

PreK - Grade 2

(Approx. 30–40 minutes)

$100

Get ready for giggles, curiosity, and connection! During this visit, your youngest readers will enjoy an interactive read-aloud filled with expression, questions, and participation. After the story, I’ll guide students through a book-related activity thoughtfully designed for their grade level to reinforce key themes with our book like mindfulness, organization, and problem-solving in a fun and age-appropriate way.

Prior to the visit, book order forms will be sent home so families have the option to purchase a signed copy of my book. We’ll wrap up the visit with a book signing and photo opportunity, creating a special memory your students will take with them long after the event ends!

Grades 3 - 5

(Approx. 45–60 minutes)

In this interactive presentation, students will dive deeper into the world of storytelling, craft, and the creative writing process. I share how an idea becomes a book, from inspiration to revision, and how everyday experiences can spark powerful stories. Through real-life examples and a behind-the-scenes look at my journey as an author, students gain insight into the importance of planning, persistence, and creativity.

There’s always time for Q&A, plus a book signing and photo opportunity for those who pre-order a copy using the book order forms sent home in advance. This visit is perfect for budding writers and curious minds ready to take their creativity to the next level.

Author & Entrepreneurial Panels

Bring the author experience straight to your screen! Virtual visits are a great option for classrooms, homeschool groups, and book clubs looking for an engaging and flexible way to connect.

Library visits are perfect for community programs and young readers of all ages! These sessions can include a read-aloud, an interactive discussion about the book, or a creative writing activity, depending on your audience and program goals.

Available for school events, conferences, or festivals, I offer a unique perspective as both a children’s book author and the founder of an independent publishing company.
